Fantasy Hockey
Fantasy Hockey Mock Draft Simulator
Practice Rotisserie, H2H Categories, or H2H Points drafts against CPU managers on a board built for hockey. Every setting changes how players are valued, not just how they're displayed.
How the board is built
Three league types, three different answers
Rotisserie and H2H Categories rank players by category z-scores over replacement — no point values exist to apply. H2H Points ranks by projected fantasy points over replacement, on your league's own weights. The same player can be a first-rounder in one and a late pick in another; that's the format, not noise.
Skaters and goalies land on one scale
A goalie's z-sum spans four categories and a skater's spans six, so the raw sums aren't comparable. Each group is measured against its own replacement level — the last goalie and last skater who'll actually be rostered — which is the only comparison that means anything at a draft table.
Peripherals are modelled, and labelled
No NHL source projects hits, blocked shots, game-winning goals, short-handed points or shutouts — and standard scoring pays for all five. Those come from each player's own observed per-game rate, or a positional median for players with no NHL history. The board tells you how many rows carry a modelled stat rather than quietly presenting a projection as published.
Dynasty is an age curve plus real pedigree
Draft-class data comes from the NHL's own draft API — actual selection order plus Central Scouting's final rankings, which are also the only public source of a birth date for a player who has never played an NHL game. A consensus first-overall pick floors near the tenth pick of a startup: ahead of every aging star, behind the handful of players who are simply better now and for years yet.
